August 23rd PRACTICE CANCELED
This evenings practice
was a "wash out" if you know what I mean. Take a
look at the pic below and to the right. I was able to catch
these at just the right moment.
I did hear from
one athlete that they at least got some stretching in. "We
were just about to start hitting each other when all of a
sudden it started to storm." said Noah R. He looked a
bit bummed out and a little wet. Don't worry Noah, you'll
get to play tomorrow.... Hopefully.
Pray that Tuesday
and Wednesday are clear skies for practice and especially
Wednesday, AKA Picture day. I don't think soggy uniforms will
look very nice on Grandma and Grandpa's wall. Unless Granny
and Pappy live in a rainforest then they probably wouldn't
notice a thing. And the wall would be part of a tree or the
corner of a cave... uh.. ahem yeah... No offense to anyone
that lives in a tree or to anyone that lives in a cave...
loads of cool people live in trees and caves.. Batman lived
in a cave.. he was cool. And the Ewoks they lived in trees...
they were kinda cool. just a little hairy...
But seriously,
just in case, keep an eye out Tuesday night I'll post when
the picture retake will be if canceled.
