Sunday September 15th
AKA the day after the Yough Game

Ramie being taken away by the paramedics after an accident on the field.

Nick Baker running one of Monessen's Touchdowns for the Tiny Might game against Yough.

The Monessen Termite team didn't have a great game compared to the Flag team. They seemed to get stopped by the Yough defense at every turn. We nearly scored a touchdown the last minutes of the fourth quarter but were once again stopped short by the Yough Iron curtain..... So either their defense was very advanced or our blocking skills leave something to be desired. I did notice that a lot of improvement is needed in our blocking tactics. The Termites lost to Yough 30 to 0. Beter luck next time boys... You did play your hearts out! and looked pretty good doing it!

#3 Jaden Altomore running for a first down against Yough in yesterday's game. Great Job Jaden!!!

Yesterday was a long day.. and it's definetly starting to get cold! no more sweating players begging for water. More like.. playes begging for blankets. Especially for those players who don't play.... like Trevor Dunn who's father traveled all the way from Florida to watch him play in yesterday's game against Yough... well that was a big disapointment. His dad sat around waiting.... watching his boy sit on the bench... I personally feel at this age... playing time is more important than winning... but i'm not a coach...what do I know. I'm sure there is a reason why some players don't get a chance to be a part of scoring that winning touchdown or stopping the other team from getting a first down. But.. we won.. I guess that was the most important thing... perhaps not...

We did have some injuries in yesterdays game. One big one. The game came to a complete hault while Raymie Burger was being taken care of by the game paramedics. From what Coach Terry stated.. "Ramie had a bump sticking out around his collar bone area." Let all hope and pray that he gets to pull another flag in next weeks game! Monessen Flag won 6 to 0.

#15 Corey Flemming running for a Monessen Tiny Mite first down in yesterday's game against Yough!
